Referendum Text
Shall Cherokee County, South Carolina be authorized to affirm the creation of the Antioch Fire District, a special tax district previously created to provide fire protection and emergency services in the District, and shall the maximum annuaI property tax levy for the operations of the District be increased from eight (8) mills to an amount not to exceed twenty (20) mills to provide current and future fire protection infrastructure and facilities in the District.
