Referendum Text
Must a special one percent sales and use tax be imposed in Union County for not more than fifteen (15) years with the revenue of the tax used to pay, directly or indirectly, the cost of some or all of the following education capital improvement projects in Union County:
Improving, renovating, replacing, converting, equipping, furnishing and updating (including land acquisition, demolition, and utility, parking and traffic infrastructure, if necessary) any of the following facilities:
1. Monarch Elementary School
2. Foster Park Elementary School
3. Buffalo Elementary School
4. Jonesville Elementary/Middle School
5. Sims Middle School
6. Union County High School
7. Union County Career Center
8. Union County Achievement Academy?
If the voter wishes to vote in favor of the question, select “Yes, In Favor of the Question”; if the voter wishes to vote against the question, select “No, Opposed to the Question.”
